How to clean lashes
A good pair of false eyelashes is usually quite expensive, but they can be used over and over again if we clean and take care of it from time to time. So, knowing how to clean fake eyelashes without destroying them can be very helpful. This can help in saving a lot of money as well as extend the life of your falsies.
We can remove all the clumps of mascara and glue residue off your lashes very easily. Here are some recommendations for keeping your false lashes clean.
- Step 1: Firstly prepare clean towels, cotton, or reusable swabs as well as rubbing alcohol or oil-free eye makeup remover to clean the lashes.
- Step 2: Place the false lashes on a clean towel and douse the end of your cotton or reusable swab in alcohol or eye makeup remover by squeezing off any excess product.
- Step 3: Use the cotton or reusable swab to gently rub away all the eye makeup and glue from your lashes. Pay extra attention to the lash bands as they get pretty gross from the makeup.
- Step 4: Finish the makeup removal process by using another cotton or reusable swab by dipping in warm water to clean off any remaining mascara.
- Step 5: Carefully peel off any remaining eyelash glue by hand.
- Step 6: Arrange them back into their original shape and let them air dry on a towel. You should never squeeze or clean the lashes harshly while cleaning them.
